Bill Kutlick graduated from Youngstown State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and has been involved in real estate since 1975. After working for the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation (a major leader in American Retail Development) for 14 years, Bill started Kutlick Realty, LLC. Bill has an extensive resume of leasing, selling, buying, and marketing commercial properties. Don’s extensive business background in operations, finance, forecasting and the ability to see “The Big Picture” allows the group to expand beyond sales and leasing opportunities to provide extensive consulting, business modeling and property management services. In addition, Don brings 10+ years experience of commercial property management to the Platz Realty Group.
Having spent his entire life in the Mahoning Valley combined with an extensive business background, Adam values and understands the commercial real estate market and knows what it takes to help clients achieve their goals. A proud Penguin alum, Adam received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Youngstown State University. He went on to achieve success by spearheading efforts to help an Austintown, Ohio manufacturer become ISO certified as well as expand plant operations through several acquisitions, including internationally with the opening of a facility in the Philippines. On the real estate side, Adam performed property management for a company specializing in apartment buildings and rental complexes. His daily operations included overseeing the sale and lease of units and the maintenance and upkeep of facilities. His passion for real estate coupled with his experience in business made Adam a great fit for the Platz Realty Group. Adam brings to the table the unique ability to not only know real estate, but also be able to discuss with businesses the financial and analytical side of making a purchase. Matthew garnered extensive manufacturing operations experience with Towing Electrical Systems of Austintown, Ohio where he held the position of Manufacturing Operations Manager for the company’s U.S. production center from 2014 through 2016. Holding this position in a mid-size hands-on enterprise, Matthew was exposed to the challenges that can accompany the daily operation of a business in a commercial setting here in the Northeastern Ohio area. Matthew brings his can-do attitude and willingness to tackle challenges to the Platz Realty Group and is ready to support the group’s clients needs. Matthew most recently completed real estate training through the Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration. Bob has been in the retail/commercial real estate industry for over twenty-eight years. Prior to joining Steve Platz Realty, Bob has been employed by both The DeBartolo Corp and Simon Property Group and later, Kelly-Visconsi where he specialized in commercial real estate sales. As a retail property specialist, Bob has been a key figure in the leasing and re-development of shopping malls in Northeastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and Western New York. He has worked with both national and regional retailers. Bob attended Youngstown State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA in management. Gris Hurlbert spent twenty-five years in manufacturing , most of which with The Bostwick Steel Lath Company in Niles, Ohio. For fifteen years, he held the position of President, Treasurer, and CEO until Bostwick’s sale in 1989. In 1992 Gris joined The Routh Company, a firm which had specialized in Commercial and Industrial Real Estate in the Warren-Youngstown region for over 20 years. Adapting quickly to his new field, he qualified for his Broker’s license in 1995. In 1996 Gris satisfied the course requirements for a CCIM designation. Upon Cal Routh’s retirement in 2002, Gris started his own brokerage, Routh-Hurlbert — Brokers of Business Real Estate. His varied business/financial skills from 45 years in business have proven valuable to his clients in improving their business real estate situations. Routh-Hurlbert recently merged with Platz Realty in October 2018. Dan Crouse is a lifelong resident of Warren, he has been married to residential Realtor Darlene Mink-Crouse for over 20 years. A graduate of Howland High School and Youngstown State University, Dan has been licensed for more than 20 years as a sales agent and former owner of a real estate brokerage with his wife. He has served as the president of the Warren Area Board of Realtors twice, and was twice named Realtor of the year by his peers. Dan was actively involved in residential development and construction for over 8 years and has been very active in Warren city redevelopment; and served as a Warren City Councilman at Large for 2 years. Dan marketed and sold mostly residential properties until his business emphasis shifted in 2010. Bringing a wealth of marketing and sales experience, Dan combines innovative solutions with a solid business background to find common ground. With a vast knowledge of the Mahoning Valley’s assets, Dan can help identify solutions to buyers needs. Gary grew up in the Cleveland area, graduated from Kent State in 1982, spent 7 years in the automobile business in Mentor, Ohio before moving his family to the Youngstown area in 1990. Gary owned and operated a successful retail jewelry store for years before obtaining his real estate license in 2006. He joined Kutlick Realty in 2007 and then the Platz Realty Group in 2020. He has been selling and leasing all categories of commercial real estate specializing in investment properties.
Beth graduated from YSU with a B.S. in Business Administration. She has been involved with commercial real estate for 20 years. She joined Kutlick Realty in 2006 then transferred to Platz Realty in 2020. Beth has lived in the Mahoning Valley all her life.
Alicia (Lish) Adams-Angelo is a 2004 graduate from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with an Emphasis in Environmental Engineering and a 2017 graduate from The Hondros College of Business in Real Estate. For over 15 years as an engineer in Columbus, she performed specification development, detailed design, project management, construction administration and oversight on multiple multi-million dollar industrial and infrastructure projects for the City of Columbus and across Central Ohio. Additionally, she worked for several years on land development and housing re-development projects. Lish moved to Howland in 2015 where she founded Municipal Treatment Solutions, LLC – a small consulting company that works for both public and private clients. After acquiring her real estate license, she sold residential real estate for 4 years and served on the Stark Trumbull Area Realtors Legislative Affairs Committee as the Local Political Coordinator to the Trumbull County Commissioners. In 2021 she was inspired to join Platz Realty Group where she can dedicate her real estate career to Commercial Real Estate transactions while drawing from her extensive engineering background.
Shea is a lifelong native of the Mahoning Valley, graduating from Youngstown State University Magna Cum Lade with a B.A. in Economics. After graduation, Shea began working for the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber's Economic Development Department for 6 years, ending his tenure as the Vice President of Economic Development. Shea's time at the Chamber has allowed him to work on over 2.4 billion dollars worth of economic development projects, most notably the Ultium Cells battery plant and the Macy's fulfillment center. Shea's background and network bring a unique value proposition to any deal, offering an understanding of non-traditional financing and resource navigation that supports the bottom lines for his clients.
John has specialized in commercial and multi-family real estate throughout Ohio for approximately 30 years. He is also licensed as an associate real estate broker in Florida and has held both a Series 6 and Series 7 Securities License. John’s commercial real estate sales and leasing experience includes cell phone towers, multi-family units, warehouse leasing and leasing airport hangar space at the Akron Canton Airport. John’s experience in aviation has been as a flight instructor and charter pilot.
